Fausto Puglisi Womenswear – Pre-Fall 2014 Collection

For his first pre-fall lineup, Fausto Puglisi played to the two women he designs for: “conservative, sophisticated, ladylike and, on the other end, the girl, the new young generation,” he said. Puglisi used strong colors (purple, turquoise, blue) and abstract animal prints for several silhouettes that veered into bourgeoisie territory, while patterned blouses teamed with graphic A-line skirts replete with crinoline were club-ready. The strong outerwear featured vibrant mohair coats, including an orange, egg-shaped one that looked timelessly chic.
